ElevenLabs Speech AI Software

About ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs began in 2022 when co-founders Mati Staniszewski, who previously worked at Palantir, and Piotr Dabkowski set out to build a text to speech model that sounded human. The research group has since produced models for speech to text, dubbing, sound effects, music, and real-time conversation, most recently Eleven v4. The company sells three platforms. ElevenAgents lets enterprises deploy voice and chat agents with telephony, knowledge bases, RAG, testing, and monitoring, and lets them choose the reasoning model behind each agent. ElevenAPI gives developers low-latency voice infrastructure. ElevenCreative serves creators and marketing teams. Contact centers are now one of its largest markets. Klarna runs first-line phone support for 35 million US customers on ElevenLabs, according to TechCrunch, and Deutsche Telekom, Revolut, Square, Cisco, and several governments use it for support and citizen services. Decagon, which trained its voice product on ElevenLabs, now also competes with it. Funding includes a $180 million Series C in January 2025 and a $500 million Series D in February 2026 led by Sequoia at an $11 billion valuation, with later closes adding BlackRock, Wellington, NVIDIA, Santander, and Deutsche Telekom's T.Capital. The company reported $350 million ARR at the end of 2025, more than $500 million by May 2026, and $600 million in September. It is headquartered in London, with a US office in New York and teams in San Francisco, Warsaw, and other cities.
