Crescendo Call Center AI Software
About Crescendo
Crescendo builds what it calls an AI-native CX platform and runs it with its own people. The pitch is that a brand should not have to stitch together a chatbot, a CCaaS, a ticketing system, QA software, VoC, knowledge, and workforce tools. Crescendo offers one platform with one data model, plus a deployed team that keeps it tuned and owns the result. The company was conceived at General Catalyst by partner Anand Chandrasekaran, who previously ran product at Five9 and worked on Messenger for Business at Meta, with co-founders Andy Lee, Matt Price, and Slava Zhakov. It launched in January 2024. In October 2024 it announced $50 million in total financing, a Series C led by General Catalyst with Celesta Capital and Alorica, and a $500 million valuation. It also bought PartnerHero, an outsourcing provider, which took operations to six continents and, by the company's account, put the combined business above $50 million in ARR with more than 200 customers. The agent lineup covers a Concierge agent for voice, chat, email, and text, a Quality agent that scores all conversations, real-time agent assist, applied insights, and optimization, integration, knowledge, and simulation agents. Crescendo states SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and GDPR coverage and a Safe Action Framework that sets which actions need human approval. It claims go-live in 30 days. Its office is at 600 California Street in San Francisco.
